No apology supporting Buhari, says Kenneth Okonkwo
ACTOR, Kenneth Okonkwo, says that he does not regret throwing his weight behind President Muhammadu Buhari, adding that the latter’s party has helped the South Eastern region more than their rival party Peoples Democracy Party (PDP).
The veteran actor stated this on Instagram yesterday, while responding to a critic who called him out for supporting Buhari after the actor lamented the ranching system in Nigeria.
An Instagram user @Azi_bukaz wrote in the comment section of the actor’s post saying, “You campaigned relentlessly for Buhari’s re-election right? You never see anything.”
Responding, Kenneth stated that he does not regret campaigning for President Buhari after seeing the projects carried out in the South East.
“Yes I supported Buhari and I stand by my decision. When I see that the Second Niger Bridge is about to be completed when I see that runway at Enugu Airport has been expanded to accommodate international flights when I see that Enugu-PH express roads are being rehabilitated.
“When I remember all the other things Buhari had done for the South East and remember that PDP was there for 16 years and did nothing for us, I am proud of the decision I took and I have no apologies for that. God bless you for writing,” he wrote.
