To celebrate the victory of the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (ret. ), in the 2015 general elections, a 53-year-old man named Dahiru Buba walked 15 days from Gombe to Abuja. He has stated that he has no regrets about his decision.

Buhari has lived up to Nigerians’ expectations during his eight years in office, according to Buba, who spoke with the News Agency of Nigeria in Gombe on Tuesday.

He declared, “The Buhari administration has done well in dealing with the Boko Haram insurgency that came dangerously close to destroying my community in Gombe State’s Dukku Local Government Area.

“We can only express our gratitude to Buhari for these and other democratic dividends.

“As I reflect on my 15-day trek from Gombe to Abuja in 2015, I’m grateful that it wasn’t in vain.

“If I get my way, I’ll do what I did; I’ll go back on the trek for him (Mr. President).”

Regarding those who decry the Buhari administration, Buba

He said, “Anyone who feels offended by Buhari should kindly forgive him; he is human.”
