The Nationwide Working Committee, NWC, of the Peoples Democratic Occasion, PDP, has clarified that it has not zoned its ticket for the November 16, 2024 governorship election to any a part of Ondo State.
This was disclosed in a press release by the celebration’s Nationwide Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunbaga.
He stated the celebration at its assembly on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, assured all intending governorship aspirants in Ondo State of a stage enjoying floor within the nomination course of.
“The NWC additional assures that the nomination course of and actions resulting in the governorship election can be all-inclusive, free, truthful and clear in accordance with the provisions of the Structure of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999 (as amended) and the Occasion Guideline for the Election.
“To make sure reconciliation and unity amongst Occasion stakeholders within the state, the NWC authorized the convening of a particular assembly of celebration leaders, comprising Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State and high celebration leaders from Ondo State,” he said.
