Osimhen wants United, Madrid moves – Bagni

Victor Osimhen, a striker from Nigeria, prefers a move to Manchester United or Real Madrid over other elite clubs in Europe that are interested in his skills.

Salvatore Bagni, a former Napoli legend who played alongside Diego Maradona on the Napoli team that won the Scudetto and Coppa Italia double in 1987, has stated that he does not anticipate Osimhen returning to a nation where he has previously played and that he will accept nothing less than Champions League football.

Victor Osimhen will not visit France again because he has already performed there. Germany is the same,” Bagni said.

He avoids Chelsea and Liverpool because they don’t participate in the Champions League. He would only support Manchester United and Real Madrid out of all the teams he was associated with, in my opinion. He doesn’t care about the other teams.

Osimhen was linked with Bayern Munich, but he began his senior career at Wolfsburg. If Bagni’s prediction is accurate, PSG’s chances of signing the Nigerian may be hampered by the 24-year-old’s time at Lille in the 2019–2020 season before moving on to Napoli.

Chelsea, which finished 12th in the Premier League last season, will not participate in any European competitions. Liverpool, which placed fifth in the Premier League last season, will play in the Europa League.

Osimhen is among the continent’s most lethal strikers after scoring 31 goals in 39 games for Napoli in all competitions. According to football news, transfer rumours, and statistics source Transfermarkt, Osimhen is the third most valuable striker in the world at €120 million, trailing only Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland who are both valued at €180 million.

Osimhen scored 26 goals in Serie A this season, making him the first African to be named Goal King of Italy.

He became the first striker from Africa to finish as the top scorer in the top league, surpassing the accomplishments of former World Footballer of the Year George Weah, Samuel Eto’o, and Obafemi Martins.
