The wife of Osun State Governor, Erelu Ngozi Adeleke, Thursday witnessed the annual Inter-House Sports tournament of the prestigious Adeleke High School, Ede.

Erelu Adeleke commended the management and staff of the school for putting the competition in place as part of the extracurricular activities of the college.

In a press statement issued by her media aide, Ms. Nwaru Caroline Oluchi, Erelu Adeleke applauded the students for their excellent performances.

She urged those who didn’t participate to take advantage of the competition next year, Erelu Ngozi Adeleke reminded the participating students of the need to embrace sportsmanship.

She added “First of all, I thank all the children, they are doing well. And I thank the teachers too, that put all the activities together, may God bless you all.

“I also thank the proprietresses and proprietors of this great school; our big daddies and big mummies. May God continue to bless them. And I won’t forget the parents that are here today. Both the ones here and those that are not here. I know it’s not easy to prepare the children for this event.

“Wonderful great parents, may God continue to bless us all.

“And to you students, you all are great. You are all looking beautiful. And I want to encourage you, there is still more room for improvement. You all have done well but I want us to improve more and more. And to those that are not able to participate today, come next year I want to see all of you. If these can do it; in matches, and marches, you too can do it.

“Even the ones that participated, you can do more. Because I’m looking forward to seeing students from Adeleke High School represent us at the state level, national, African, and world levels. If others can do it, we can do it.” She concluded.
