Police impound 257 motorcycles in Lagos over traffic offences

The Police Command in Lagos says it has impounded 257 bikes for plying restricted roads and committing different site visitors offences.

The command’s spokesperson, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, advised NAN that the bikes had been seized by a Speedy Response Squad, RRS staff throughout particular operations within the state on Wednesday.

Hundeyin stated already, the Commissioner of Police within the state, Mr Adegoke Fayoade, had displayed the seized bikes on the command’s headquarters.

He additionally stated that the police commissioner counseled the RRS staff for its efforts.

The police spokesman additional stated that the patrol operation can be a routine train, following reckless using by business motorcyclists on some main roads throughout the state.

He stated that the impounded bikes can be crushed together with these earlier seized by the command.
