Adetunji Oladayo, the zonal pastor for the Redeemed Christian Church of God’s Emmanuel Zone in Ogun Province 3, is about to leave.
This was announced by the church in a statement on Friday. The ceremony, where Oladayo, his wife Olufunke, and a former Area pastor named Henry Afuape would be sent out, was noted to take place on Sunday.
The church claimed Oladayo and his wife made “giant strides” during their six years in charge of the zone, and they also championed the church’s building project at the zonal headquarters, Emmanuel Parish, turning it from a tent to a legitimate building.
Abiodun Layinka, the newly appointed presiding pastor in charge of the Emmanuel Zone, stated that “all the zone workers are excited to stage a befitting send forth for Pastor Oladayo.”
“I am happy that this is happening,” he continued, “because for me, it is like going back home because it is rare for any pastor to spend six years in a particular zone or parish.”
Olaolu Ibitoye, the pastor in charge of the Peace Assembly Area, and Adeola Adenuga, the pastor in charge of Ogun Province 3, are also co-hosting the event with Layinka.
