The Home on Tuesday handed for second studying a invoice in search of to supply counselling for victims of tried suicide as an alternative of the one 12 months jail time period prescribed by the Principal Act.

The invoice was sponsored by Francis Waive and handed for second studying after the controversy on the overall ideas of the invoice.

Main the controversy on the invoice, Waive stated the exiting Act gives that “Any one who makes an attempt to kill himself is responsible of a misdemeanour and is liable to imprisonment for one 12 months.”
