An electronics manufacturer, Samsung West Africa; and a car brand, GAC Motors, in a joint gesture of hospitality recently hosted a popular businessman, Obinna Iyiegbu, popularly known as Obi Cubana, to two separate events to celebrate his 49th birthday.
Samsung treated the birthday boy to an exquisite dinner and after-party on Thursday, April 11, 2024, at the newly opened luxury restaurant, Knowhere, on Victoria Island, Lagos State.
The events were all shades of excitement, glamour and mouthwatering dishes, as Iyiegbu, donning his signature all-white ensemble, accompanied by his elegant wife, ceremoniously cut the cakes laid out for him.
The dinner attracted family members and friends of the amiable businessman, who made sure he had a wonderful time.
The ambiance was electrified by a rendition of classical music, which serenaded guests as they were treated to fine dining.
In his remarks at the event, Iyiegbu said, “It feels great to be celebrated by a global brand such as Samsung, in recognition of a great partnership. I am delighted today that they came through by hosting this unique birthday eve dinner.”
Similarly, Iyiegbu was gifted a white GS8 automobile by GAC Motors at a separate event organised by the brand to host the celebrant.
Appreciation the gesture by the automobile maker, Obi Cubana wrote on Instagram, “I came for an iconic hosting on my birthday, and drove back with a 2024 brand new super luxury GS8. This one is loud. Thank you so much GAC Nigeria. This partnership with me and Enviable Transport is endless.”
The event at GAC Motors was attended by comedian and actor, Samuel Perry, aka Broda Shaggi; and controversial media personality, Ifedayo Olarinde, aka Daddy Freeze.
