Senate Presidency: Incompetent Southern Christian better than Northern Muslim – Shettima

As the race for the Senate Presidency heats up, Vice President Kashim Shettima has stated that the most inept Southern Christian is preferable to the most puritanical Northern Muslim.

Shettima has stated that he is willing to kneel and beg the incoming senators to allow a Southern Christian to be elected Senate President.

He made the remarks during a meeting with senators in Abuja.

“I’m ready to kneel and beg my colleagues for the sake of the nation,” Shettima said. This is for the sake of the nation’s survival.

“Here we are in a multi-ethnic, multi-religious polity with a Muslim president and a Muslim vice president.”For the love of God, numbers one and two.

“Under the current regime, the worst, most inept Southern Christian is better than the most puritanical Northern Muslim for the Senate Presidency.”
