Shehu Sani, a former senator who served as the representative for Kaduna Central in the 8th Senate, stated on Monday, July 10, that the opposition will “move on” regardless of the decision that is handed down by the court that is hearing the presidential election petition. In a post on his verified Twitter handle, Sani stated that in the event that President Bola Tinubu is removed from office by the court, a certain prominent Kaduna state indigene will severely criticize the former governor of Lagos state. Sani’s post was published on the Twitter account that Sani uses to tweet.
Sani said, “Only God will deliver Tinubu from the lips of the former Kaduna emperor.”
Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi, leaders of the opposition, had petitioned the court to overturn Tinubu’s victory.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate Tinubu was declared the winner of the election by Nigeria’s Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on March 1.
Sani wrote:
“If the court favours Tinubu and his victory is affirmed, the opposition may Congratulate him or Condemn the ruling and move on.
“If the Court ruled against Tinubu and he lost the Presidency, only God will save him from the mouth of the ex Kaduna emperor and his next Book “How we made him and he betrayed us”.
