A South African lady was found guilty on Wednesday by a jury in New Zealand of killing her three small daughters, and they warned that she would receive a life sentence for each of the murders.

About a month after the family had moved from South Africa, Lauren Anne Dickason murdered her two-year-old twins and their six-year-old sister in their Timaru, New Zealand, home in September 2021.

Following a month-long high court trial in Christchurch, local media reported that a jury of eight women and four men found Dickason guilty of murder and found him not crazy at the time of the crimes.

According to the story, when her husband Graham returned after dinner with coworkers, he discovered the three children dead and his wife in a critical condition.

According to the prosecution, Dickason recognised that killing her daughters was immoral and that she had committed murder.
As they left the courthouse, some of the jury could be heard sobbing, according to a media report.

Dickason was remanded to custody in a hospital psychiatric unit by Judge Cameron Mander until she was sentenced.

Since the killings, she has been in the hospital.
