Rita Edochie, a Nollywood veteran, has voiced her displeasure with the persistent death rumors involving her coworker Osita Iheme, better known by her stage as Pawpaw.
The actress bemoaned the fact that she had recently come across two rumors claiming Pawpaw had passed away.
Surprisingly, she said, some followers took the phony news seriously and expressed their grief in the comments area.
Edochie voiced his displeasure with the overabundance of news about star deaths in a long Instagram post.
She emphasized that similar news was also falsely reported about her, pointing out that the bogus information was disseminated using a picture of her on a film set.

“This rumor has surfaced previously,” she wrote. For the second time, a few days ago, images of my great-son and seasoned coworker, Osita Iheme, often known as Pawpaw, went viral on social media with the message, “Dead.” Crazy netizens believed the fake gist and began commenting RIP on themselves.
“I have said it before, and I’m saying it again: social media has literally done more harm than good to society. It has also been a constant source of enrichment for most Nigerian youths in the country, but the abuse is getting out of hand.”
