On Wednesday, President Bola Tinubu gave his approval to the appointment of nine individuals to the Nigerian Christian Pilgrims Commission board of directors.
This was revealed in a statement headed “President Tinubu appoints new board of Nigerian Christian Pilgrims Commission” by Ajuri Ngelale, Tinubu’s Special Advisor on Media and Publicity.
Colonel Aloche Adole, the chairman, Dr. Stephen Adegbite, the secretary, Mrs. Omowumi Ogunlola, the member for South West, Clement Nweke, the member for South East, and Prince Wosu, the member for South South are among the new appointees.
Dr. Toma Ragnjiya, a member of the North East; Dr. Simon Dolly, a member of the North Central; Prof. Joseph Mamman, a member of the North West; and Raphael Nwankwo, a representative of the Christian Association of Nigeria, are the others.
As per Ngelale’s account, the President gave the newly appointed officials instructions to “view their appointment as a chance to serve the country and, consequently, fully dedicate themselves to this significant goal.”
