The German government has been urged by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to benefit from the new incentives for foreign investment in Nigeria.

This was mentioned by Tinubu at the G-20 conference in India, according to a statement made on Sunday by President Ajuri Ngelale’s spokeswoman.

In a conversation with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, Tinubu said that his administration’s focus is on expanding Nigeria’s economic collaboration.

According to Tinubu, “it is not just a matter of designing the financial architecture for an increased economic partnership.”

“It is also about the pragmatic alignment of your large-scale manufacturers’ perspectives with the reality of the new incentives my government is putting in place for them to come and prosper across multiple value chains and sectors inside our country,” said the president.

“Thank you, Mr. President, for this crucial discussion. I value this chance to strengthen our business ties. Your market is distinctive, and our businesses have a background in Nigeria.

The German leader praised Tinubu for implementing business-friendly measures.

He stated that he would like to go to Nigeria in October, which will help to forward these objectives.
