Wura-Ola Adepoju has been officially appointed as the substantive comptroller-general (CG) of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), as confirmed by President Bola Tinubu.
According to The Cable, Adepoju reportedly told NIS personnel about the development on Wednesday during the comptroller-general’s parade.
She said, “You might also want to know that I have been confirmed as a substantive comptroller-general of immigration by the grace of God and the kindness of the current government.”
She also mentioned that the decoration date would be revealed soon.
