Tinubu, Shettima get new Igbo titles in Abia

On Friday, Igbo traditional titles were bestowed onto President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima.

Shettima accepted the traditional title of Omezeri Igbo I, bestowed upon Tinubu by the traditional rulers of Abia State, on his behalf.

The chairman of the Abia State Council of Traditional Rulers, Eze Linus Mbah, bestowed Enyioma Ndigbo upon Shettima.

Senator Godswill Akpabio of the Senate, Speaker of the House of Representatives Tajudeen Abbas, five governors from Southeast states, former governors from Southeast states, Abdullahi Ganduje, national chairman of the APC, Obi from Onitsha, Ooni from Ife, senators, and members of the House of Representatives were present with Vice President Shettima.

In addition, Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Benjamin Kalu received a magnificent civic reception on this occasion, and the Peace in the South East Project in Bikenda, Abia State, was unveiled.
