Troops of the Joint Job Pressure Operation Hadarin Daji, OPHD, efficiently dispersed bandits in Tsafe city, Tsafe Native Authorities Space of Zamfara State and rescued 10 kidnap victims.
Lieutenant Suleiman Omale, Info Officer, Operation Hadarin Daji, in an announcement on Wednesday mentioned, “Responding swiftly to a misery name on the night time of March 12, 2024, OPHD troops engaged in a fierce gun duel with the bandits upon arrival in Tsafe city. By aggressive techniques and unwavering dedication, the troops overpowered the bandits, forcing them to flee with gunshot wounds by a rocky bush, abandoning all 10 kidnapped people.”
He added that in subsequent mop-up patrols within the space, the resilient troops intercepted and efficiently rescued all the ten victims and reunited them with their households.
“The gallant efficiency, doggedness, brevity, and professionalism exhibited by the troops have been recommended by Main Basic GM Mutkut, the Basic Officer Commanding 8 Division, Sokoto,” he added.
He mentioned Mutkut expressed appreciation for his or her efforts and urged them to keep up the momentum within the pursuit of restoring peace and safety within the area.
