Two brothers detain in custody in Kwara on suspicion of murdering uncle

Regarding the alleged murder of their uncle, two suspects have been remanded in jail custody by an Ilorin, Kwara State, magistrate’s court.

They are Kaiama natives Musa Aliyu and Idris Aliyu, who live in the Kaiama Local Government of the State.

A police report claims that the suspects killed their uncle Muhammad Abubakar, who was 54 years old.

According to reports, the younger brother’s lifeless body was discovered by the two suspects’ father when he arrived home.

Before the state capital of Ilorin’s magistrate’s court, the two accused were charged by the Kwara State police command.

The court was persuaded to hold the accused till the investigation into the incident was concluded by Police Prosecutor Gbenga Ayeni.

The trial was postponed to November 1, 2023 by trial magistrate A.A. Isah, who remanded the suspects.
