The administration expressed confidence that President Bola Tinubu will win on Wednesday at the tribunal.
On Wednesday, September 6, a live broadcast of the Presidential Elections Petitions Tribunal’s decision on the complaints made against President Tinubu by the PDP’s Atiku Abubakar and the Labour Party’s Peter Obi would take place.
Ajuri Ngelale, the spokesperson for the president, responded to the news by saying that his principle isn’t under any duress and that the tribunal would confirm Tinubu’s electoral triumph.
“The President does not feel it necessary to intimidate court officials. Ngelale said with a chuckle, “He sees no need to raise questions about the integrity of judicial officials; he believes in the purity and integrity of the Nigerian legal system, and he believes the wonderful men and women on the panel would base their choices solely on the evidence in front of them.
He claimed that President Tinubu would accept the verdict of the tribunal and endeavor to improve the nation’s institutions.
Ngelale continued, “He [Tinubu] will continue to make sure that, regardless of the verdict’s conclusion, he plays his role and maintains the respect of all actors for our institutions.
Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP), Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) are all challenging Tinubu’s election.
