Mrs. Bola Obasanjo, the wife of the former President Olusegun Obasanjo, has urged women to turn to God in trying circumstances.
The Reverend (Mrs.) Fola Achudume celebrated her 55th birthday on Wednesday at the Victory Life Bible Church auditorium in Abeokuta, Ogun State. The ex-first lady announced this at the event.
She urged people to remain patient and focused no matter where they are by pointing out that when one relies on God, especially in difficult times, the impossible becomes attainable.
She also urged people, particularly women, to look for methods to uplift others rather than to be envious of one another.
“People can only truly appreciate the significance of life and human existence when they take the time to understand the reason for creation.
The woman is a reflection of her husband, she continued, adding that women who marry prominent men must be aware that the attention is always on their spouses.
She claims that in addition to carving out a place for herself inside Christianity, Reverend (Mrs.) Achudume has made significant contributions to the advocacy and empowerment of women.
Chief (Mrs.) Obasanjo exhorted the ladies to always be obedient, as well as respect, honor, and be there for their husbands and children at all times. She described the Birthday Girl as a wonderful match and tower of support to her husband.
