Zenith Financial institution Plc has introduced Adaora Umeoji as its first feminine Group Managing Director.
The corporate secretary, Michael Otu, disclosed this in a press release filed with the Nigerian Alternate Restricted on Tuesday.
Umeoji will take over from the present GMD, Dr. Ebenezer Onyeagwu, whose time in workplace expires on Could 31.
Accordingly, Umeoji’s tenure is predicted to take off on June 1, 2024.
Till her appointment, Umeoji had been the financial institution’s deputy managing director since October 28, 2016.
“Dame (Dr.) Adaora Umeoji is the primary feminine GMDCEO because the financial institution’s inception, and her appointment is in keeping with the financial institution’s government transition custom, succession plan, and technique of grooming leaders from inside,” a part of the assertion reads.
