The major problem Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed, the Labour Party’s vice-presidential candidate with Peter Obi in the 2023 election, has with the former Anambra State governor, has been revealed.
Baba-Ahmed told Peter Obi to stay away from the 2027 presidential election if he is not prepared for a fight, in an interview on X Monday.
He attributed his decision to the exit of Peter Obi from the Labour Party, stating he would have stayed on to face the challenge of the opposition party.
He said the north may not support the presidential ticket of Peter Obi and former Kano State governor, Rabiu Kwankwaso, being sold by both politicians.
While I do not like what the All Progressives Congress has done against Nigerians, in the same vein, anybody that got the Labour Party ticket so easily should have stayed to fix the problem of the party no matter how difficult it is.

Remember Peter Obi and Kwankwaso dumped the African Democratic Congress for Nigerian Democratic Congress on Sunday.
It was reported that Peter Obi had earlier defected from LP where he contested the 2023 presidential election with Baba-Ahmed.
