Isaac Fayose, a Nigerian businessman, has vowed to remain loyal to presidential hopeful Peter Obi no matter the political party he defects to.
Isaac said this in a video clip he posted on his official Facebook page Monday in response to criticism surrounding Obi’s move to the Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC).
Obi and a former governor of Kano State, Rabiu Kwankwaso, reportedly left the African Democratic Congress (ADC) for the NDC on Sunday.
The development was not well received by members of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) who accused Obi and Kwankwaso of “moving from party to party”.
Reacting, Isaac Fayose said he and others believe in Obi and are ready to move with him anywhere he goes.
He accused the APC of meddling with the opposition even though it has 32 governors.
“Your present president moved from SDP to AD, ACN and APC, he said. We will go wherever Peter Obi decides to go because we believe in him.
“If APC is sure of winning, why are members throwing their hands in all other parties? I thought they had over 32 governors, why are they still sticking their fingers in other parties?
“If we want, we can go to NNN, that’s ours. “Obi is our guy.
