Bayo Onanuga, a presidential advisor on information and strategy, has stated that President Bola Tinubu is currently recovering from knee surgery in London, United Kingdom.
In response to a question concerning President Tinubu’s health, Onanuga made this remark in a recent interview with the Nigerian Tribune.
Remember that Tinubu traveled to London for knee surgery prior to launching his presidential campaign for the 2023 general election.
Tinubu has no other ailments, according to Ononuga, but is still recovering from knee surgery.
“No, he was not sick,” he replied. This was made obvious to Nigerians. Tinubu was in peak physical condition in the run-up to that election.

“Before that campaign began, I believe a year before, he underwent knee surgery, which was not a secret because President Buhari even went to see him in London while he was recovering.”
“And so he went to have knee surgery.” That was the reason he couldn’t walk correctly.
“You can’t walk like a 25-year-old man after knee surgery.” Because it was a significant procedure, he is still recovering. He doesn’t have any other ailments.”
