The Federal Capital Territory’s (FCT) Minister Nyesom Wike has been invited to join the All Progressives Congress (APC) by the Rivers State chapter of the party because the party needs him.
Tony Okocha, the chairman of the APC Caretaker Committee, stated that because the party is in charge, Wike ought to join.
Following the APC defection of 27 state lawmakers, he addressed reporters in Port Harcourt.
When asked if Wike’s defection was a part of his plans to join the APC, Okocha responded, “I don’t think so.”

“They will cross the bridge when they get there, for whatever reason.
”Since Wike is a well-known politician, no one can predict with certainty whether he will join the APC or not.
He played a major role in the APC’s win in the state in 2023.
Since the APC is the ruling party, joining it is the best thing we could ask him to do.
