Adenike Aboderin, a former Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria director of finance and accounts, has been named as the managing director and chief executive officer of Skyway Aviation Handling Company Plc, effective Thursday, February 1.
As stated in a corporate notice signed by Jesuyemisi Odeyemi, the company secretary, and filed with the Nigerian Exchange Limited on Thursday, she succeeds Basil Agboarumi after his term is over.
With extensive expertise in executive leadership, finance, and management in both the public and private sectors, Aboderin is a skilled finance specialist.
As stated in the statement, she has held numerous Senior Executive Management roles in the Public and Private sectors. Until December 2023, she served as the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria’s Director of Finance and Accounts, overseeing the organization’s budget, credit control, and finance departments.
In the public sector, she supervised the state’s Economic Planning Department and served as the Executive Governor of Ogun State’s Special Advisor on Trade and Investments from 2011 to 2014.
From the University of Lagos, Aboderin received a Bachelor’s in Finance and a Master’s in Banking and Finance. The announcement said, “She is an AMPAP Certified International Airport Professional, a Fellow of the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria, and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria.”
