The Jigawa State Home of Meeting has impeached 4 principal officers and 4 native authorities council chairmen.

The transfer comes within the wake of allegations linking them to a purported plan to question the Speaker.

Speaker of the Home RT Hon Haruna Aliyu Dangyatum, disclosed this throughout the Wednesday sitting.

He mentioned the impeachment of the 2 principal officers comply with a movement introduced forth by Hamza Ibrahim Adamu, representing Malam Madori State Meeting Constituency.

The impeached principal officers embrace, deputy majority chief, Honourable Aliyu Ahmed, representing Kirikassama and the chief whip, Dayyabu Shehu Kwalo, representing Taura State Meeting Constituency.

Adam mentioned the officers had been accused of plotting and supporting the impeachment of the Speaker of the Home a number of weeks prior.
