Six players battle for NPFL February Player of the Month award

Six gamers have been nominated for the Nigeria Premier Soccer League, NPFL, Participant of the Month award for February.

The gamers shortlisted are Chijioke Mbaoma (Enyimba), Godsgift Elkanah (Bayelsa United), Ibrahim Mustapha (Kano Pillars), Nenrot Silas (Plateau United), Nyima Nwagua (Rivers United) and Tochukwu Michael (Sporting Lagos).

Mbaoma netted three targets for Enyimba within the month.

He prolonged his aim tally to seven this season.

Elkanah helped Bayelsa United to a few wins in three outings in February.

Mustapha continued along with his spectacular kind for Kano Pillars as he elevated his aim tally to seven within the month.

Silas netted as soon as in Plateau United’s 5-1 thrashing of Heartland in Awka.

Micheal is considered probably the greatest signings of the mid-season switch window after his exploits for Sporting Lagos.

The midfielder has netted thrice since his transfer from Remo Stars.

Nwagua had a formidable displaying for Rivers United within the month.

He netted a hat-trick towards Doma United on matchday 20 in Port Harcourt.
