The Lagos State Police Command has arrested a 25-year-old suspect for alleged theft {of electrical} cables at Lagos State Educating Hospital, LASUTH, in Ikeja.
The State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, disclosed on his verified X deal with, @benHundeyin, on Sunday that the suspect was arrested by a safety officer and handed over to the police.
“The suspect was apprehended by a vigilant safety officer as he was rising from a constructing beneath renovation within the Lagos State College Educating Hospital, Ikeja.
“He was caught with numerous electrical wires he ripped off the constructing,” he stated.
He stated that investigation was ongoing, urging Lagos residents to safeguard their buildings beneath development.
