Police confirm three dead in Adamawa communal clash

The Adamawa State Police Command has confirmed the demise of three folks in a conflict between two communities.

The police stated Wednesday that the conflict ocurred between the Selti and Kpasham villages in Numan and Demsa native authorities areas.

“Following the report of a communal violence at Selti and Pkasham villages of Numan and Demsa native authorities areas that resulted within the demise of three, the Commissioner of Police, Adamawa State Command, CP Dankombo Morris, personally led a crew of police operatives to the scene, patrolled, assessed and swiftly restored order,” the command stated in a press assertion signed by the state Police Public Relations Officer, Suleiman Nguroje.

The command added that investigation continues to be ongoing to detect and apprehend the perpetrators and collaborators of the violence.

It stated it could make sure the prosecution of such folks as it could not condone some folks taking the legislation into their palms.
