Police in Anambra State say they’ve recovered an AK-47 rifle and two magazines loaded with 50 rounds of seven.62mm ammunition.
The spokesperson for the state police command, SP Tochukwu Ikenga acknowledged this in a press launch made obtainable to reporter in Awka, the Anambra State capital.
Ikenga mentioned the arm and ammunition have been from a kidnap gang, which the operatives of the command had dislodged final week Friday.
He mentioned two autos have been recovered from the kidnap gang, whereas 4 kidnap victims have been rescued when operatives of the command accosted the gang at Awgbu, Orumba North Native Authorities Space.
