The members of the Board of Trustees of the Nigeria Police Trust Fund (NPTF) will serve another term of three years after receiving President Muhammadu Buhari’s approval to continue in their positions.

According to a statement made by the Ministry of Police Affairs on Friday in Abuja, the renewed appointment will begin its new term on May 19, in accordance with the provisions of the NPTF (Establishment) Act, 2019.

In addition, it was stated that the reappointment was a result of the remarkable performance of the board, which was demonstrated by the strengthening of Nigeria’s policing and internal security.

According to NAN, the other members of the panel are as follows: Mansur Ahmed, who speaks for the organised private sector; Michael Adebiyi, who speaks for civil society organisations; and the Inspector-General of Police, who speaks for the Nigeria Police Force.
