EPL: Why I allowed Rashford to take penalty against Everton – Bruno Fernandes

Manchester United midfielder, Bruno Fernandes has defined why he allowed teammate Marcus Rashford to take a penalty throughout the Crimson Devils Premier League 2-0 win in opposition to Everton on Saturday.

Fernandes mentioned that Rashford was assured of dispatching his spot-kick in opposition to the Toffees, so he allowed the England worldwide to take it.

Recall that two penalty objectives from Fernandes and Rashford gave Erik ten Hag’s aspect all three factors in opposition to Everton.

When requested by TNT Sport (by way of Metro) about his choice to let Rashford take the second penalty, Fernandes responded:

“We each kick the penalties. I requested Marcus if he needed to take and he mentioned he was assured.

“He is among the penalty takers that the supervisor chooses. I felt I had my one; Rashy might get his purpose from the penalty.”
