John Francis has been assigned as the new Controller of Corrections Federal Capital Territory Command by Haliru Nababa, the Controller General of the Nigerian Correctional Service.
Francis will take over as the FCT Command’s spokesman for Training and Staff Development, replacing Ibrahim Idris, who was recently elevated to the position of Assistant Controller General of Corrections, according to a statement signed by Adamu Duza on Friday.
Idris thanked the FCT Command personnel for their assistance and said, “I can only say I am successful if my successor succeeds.”
He conveyed his belief that the new controller will be able to elevate FCT Command.
Francis complimented the ACG on his performance in the command and asked for his continued assistance.
Francis served as the National Chaplain-Protestant NCoS Headquarters, Abuja, prior to his most recent tour.
