Chance Perdomo, an actor best known for his role as Andre in the popular Amazon Prime Video series, Gen V, has died.

TV Line reports that Perdomo, also known for his work in Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, died as a result of a motorcycle accident.

He was 27.

Perdomo’s representatives confirmed his death in a statement on Saturday.

Perdomo recently appeared in Gen V, a spinoff of The Boys on Prime Video, where he played the role of Andre Anderson, a student who possesses the power of magnetic manipulation.

The series, which premiered in September 2023, and was set to return for a second season in October, will experience delays in production due to the passing of Perdomo, TV Line reports.

Perdomo also starred in episodes of Midsomer Murders and Hetty Feather.

“We can’t quite wrap our heads around this,” the producers of Gen V said in a statement released on Saturday.

“For those of us who knew him and worked with him, Chance was always charming and smiling, an enthusiastic force of nature, an incredibly talented performer, and more than anything else, just a very kind, lovely person.

Even writing about him in the past tense doesn’t make sense. We are so sorry for Chance’s family, and we are grieving the loss of our friend and colleague. Hug your loved ones tonight.”
