Gov Uba Sani Denies Imposing Curfew In Kaduna

Kaduna State governor, Uba Sani, has refuted reports of curfew imposition on the State following the looting of government properties in the state capital by hoodlums during the ongoing nationwide protests against hardship and hunger in the State.

Governor Sani, who took to the of official Facebook page of Kaduna State governor, on Thursday afternoon, noted that the situation was under control.

The governor wrote, “No curfew has been imposed in Kaduna as we speak. Everything is under control.”

LEADERSHIP earlier reported how hoodlums who have infiltrated the ongoing hardship protesters on Thursday set a portion of the Kaduna State Transport Law Authority (KASTLEA) office ablaze and carted away some properties belonging to the agency.

They also touched the headquarters of the Kaduna Investment Promotion Agency (KADIPA), vandalising the building.

Unconfirmed report said the criminal elements further looted an apartment belonging to a military officer.

LEADERSHIP also reports that the attacks on the government offices were taking place at the same time when #EndBadGovernance protesters took to the streets to protest against hardship and hunger in the country.
