All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in the September 21 election in Edo State, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has visited the family of slained Inspector Akor Onu.
He was killed last Thursday during the attack on the convoy of Okpebholo by suspected thugs at Benin Airport.
His police details Inspector Akor Onuh was hit by a bullet which claimed his life.
Okpebholo in his condolence message by his legislative aide on media and communication, Godswill Inegbe assured the family that the dream of their father to train his children to university level would become a reality
“One of your father’s dreams was for all of you to become graduates in order to have a better future. I will not let that dream to die with him and I won’t allow his killers to also kill that dream. From this moment, I will be personally responsible for your education till university level.
“I want to seize this painful moment to assure you all that I will not rest until the killers of your father are brought to justice.”
Okpebholo gave a welfare package to the widow and promised to cater for them.
