Oluwola, Oyetola hail Tinubu on Supreme Court ruling

The Supreme Court panel’s decision to uphold President Bola Tinubu’s election was hailed by Minister of Marine and Blue Economy Adegboyega Oyetola as a “sound one” that will further strengthen the nation’s electoral laws and judicial jurisprudence on Thursday.

The minister added that the legal dispute over the 2023 presidential election had been resolved, and those who support democracy should applaud the judiciary’s tenacity in strengthening the nation’s democracy through its wise rulings, according to a statement released by his spokeswoman, Ismail Omipidan.

“I congratulate our president, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and the vice president, Senator Kashim Shettima, on their victory at the Supreme Court,” the statement partially stated on behalf of the APC family in Osun.

With today’s ruling, the pointless squabbling, diversions, and legal disputes that accompanied the 2023 presidential election have been resolved. My goal is that the opposition will work with our president to advance Nigeria for the benefit of the nation as a whole.

Oba Abdulrosheed Akanbi, the Oluwo of Iwo in Osun State, has also congratulated President Bola Tinubu on his win at the Supreme Court, which upheld his victory in the 2023 presidential election.

In a letter of congratulations, signed by Alli Ibraheem, his press secretary, Oba Akanbi urged lawmakers to put Nigeria’s interests first, emphasizing that the nation is bigger than any one person.

In order to advance the nation, Tinubu should work with the claimants in this case, the royal father further pleaded.
