PDP Appoints New Committee To Serve As Caretaker For Katsina Chapter

The People’s Democratic Party (PDP)’s National Working Committee (NWC) has formed a Caretaker Committee for the Katsina State branch of the Party.

According to a statement released by Debo Ologunagba, who serves as the National Publicity Secretary for the Party, the National Working Committee’s decision to form the Caretaker Committee is supported by the authorities enshrined in the PDP’s amended 2017 Constitution.

According to the announcement, “The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has authorized the appointment of the Katsina State Caretaker Committee to pilot the business of the Katsina State Chapter of the Party for a term of three months.”

“The Katsina Caretaker Committee is to oversee the business of the Party in Katsina State for a term not exceeding 90 days, effective as of the 23rd of June, 2023.
