Super Eagles will win AFCON trophy for Tinubu -NFF

The Nigeria Football Federation has credited President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda for the Super Eagles’ victory in the AFCON quarterfinals.

It guaranteed that the group would take home the President’s trophy.

In an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria on Saturday in Abidjan, NFF President Ibrahim Gusau expressed gratitude to Tinubu for his backing and emphasized the President’s dedication to the growth of sports, especially football.

After Ademola Lookman’s goal, assisted by Moses Simon, gave the team a 1-0 victory over Angola, Gusau praised Tinubu’s inspirational remarks.
He said that the President’s backing of the team demonstrated his dedication to the advancement of sports, particularly football.

“You heard what he said,” he declared. “Boys go there, believe in me,” he exclaimed.No matter what problems you are having, all you need to do is have faith in me. Do the task, and you will observe the outcome.

You can see them carrying out the task; that’s precisely what he told them.

“With God’s grace, I am confident that he will lavishly reward them, something that has never occurred in Nigerian history.

“With God’s grace, we will fulfill our promise to give him the trophy.”

He urged Nigerians to keep cheering on the team and reaffirmed the NFF’s pledge to give Tinubu the trophy.

With just two games remaining, he declared, “with God’s grace, we will keep doing what we are doing.”

We ask everyone in Nigeria to pray for us, as we believe that prayer is the foundation of all we do.

Therefore, we kindly ask all Nigerians to keep up their spiritual support for us.

NFF Executive Board member Aisha Falode underlined that the NFF is following Tinubu’s instructions to win the cup for Nigeria.

She urged Nigerians to support the team and expressed confidence in making it to the final.

“Go win the cup for Nigeria,” was her stated directive, and she stated that they were close to achieving it.It is a mantra of revitalized optimism.

“A revitalized Super Eagles for a revitalized Nigeria with a single goal: returning the 2023 AFCON trophy to Nigeria so that Nigerians can rejoice.”
That is our plan of action. We’re headed to the championship game. We adore Nigeria.

Cape Verde and South Africa will determine Nigeria’s semi-final opponent. The competition, which got underway in Cote d’Ivoire on January 13th, is scheduled to end on February 11th.
