A letter from President Bola Tinubu to the Senate requests confirmation of the appointments of 19 individuals as the North-Central Board’s Chairman, Managing Director/CEO, and Board Members.
The North-Central Development Commission (NCDC) has appointed 19 individuals as its chairman, managing director/CEO, and board members. President Bola Tinubu has written to the Senate to request confirmation of these nominations.
During Thursday’s plenary, Senate President Godswill Akpabio read Tinubu’s letter, according to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).
The letter states: “of compliance with the guidelines of North-Central Development Commission (Establishment) Act, 2024, Part I, Section 2(2)(a)…
“I am writing to submit, for Senate confirmation after consulting with the House of Representatives, the nominations of the nineteen (19) individuals listed below as Chairman, Managing Director/CEO, and Board Members of the North-Central Development Commission.”
Niger, Plateau, Dauda Kigbu, Member; Nasarawa, Zakari Jikantoro, Member; Benue, Tsenyil Yiltsen, Managing Director; and Cosmas Akyhir, Chairman.
Members Sulaiman Ali, Rev. Bunmi Olusona Kogi, Dr. Umar Mantu Kwara, Plateau, Atotse Abraham, and Benue are also included.

Members Solomon Adodo, Abdulkadir Usman, FCT, Habu Mamman, North-West, North-East, and Dr. Atinuke Owolabi, South-West.
Boniface Izziogu, a member of South-South; James Uloko, the executive director of Benue; Atika Ajanah, the executive director of projects; Kogi; and Rachel Nse, a member.
“Hajiya Aishatu Ibrahim, Executive Director, Nasarawa; Muhammad Bashar, Executive Director, Niger; and Hajiya Bilgis Sanni, Executive Director, Kwara.”
