Troops neutralise bandit, rescue 15 kidnapped victims in Zamfara

Troops of the Joint Activity Power Operation Hadarin Daji have nuetralised a bandit and rescued 15 kidnapped victims in Zamfara.

That is contained in an announcement issued in Gusau on Tuesday by the Data Officer to Operation Hadarin Daji, Lt. Sulaiman Omale.

“In a swift response to a misery name, troops of Operation Hadarin Daji thwarted a large abduction try by bandits within the Tsohuwar Tasha space of Kaura Namoda Native Authorities Space of Zamfara.

“On March 5, 2024, the troops engaged the bandits in a heavy gunfight, forcing them to withdraw in disarray via a riverline.

“Pursuing the fleeing criminals, our gallant troops neutralized one of many assailants alongside their withdrawal route whereas others fled with gunshot wounds,” Omale mentioned.

In response to him, the rescued kidnapped victims comprised eight females and 7 males.

“The restoration of normalcy within the space is now secured, bolstered by confidence-building patrols.

“The troops stay on excessive alert, with morale at its peak”, Omale added.

Already, Maj.-Gen. Godwin Mutkut, the Normal Officer Commanding 8 Division of the Nigerian Military Sokoto, has recommended the professionalism and resilience of the troops.
