The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has stated that the decision by seven opposition political groups to unite against it does not concern them.

The party stated that it is incumbent upon the parties to demonstrate their worth to Nigerians.

Recall that in order to oppose the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), seven opposition groups united under the name Concerned Political groups (CCPP). The coalition was established to foil the APC’s plan to establish a one-party system in Nigeria.

The African Democratic Congress (ADC), the Young Progressive Party (YPP), the Allied Peoples Movement (APM), the Social Democratic Party (SDP), the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) comprise the coalition.

At a meeting at the SDP national office, it is said that the political parties made the decision to join a coalition.

Shehu Musa Gabam, the national chairman of the SDP, told reporters that the federal government’s budget of theories is insufficient to address Nigeria’s economic issues.

Felix Morka, the national publicity secretary for the APC, was cited as dismissing the collaboration with a sweep of his hand in response to the development and saying that the party would not be sidetracked by it.

Morka stated, “We also read the report of conversations around the intention of some political parties to come together,” as reported by The Nation. That is not a concern for us. Everything the opposition does is their fault. It is their responsibility to defend themselves in front of Nigerians.
