Nigerian Govt should Ban Miyetti Allah before focusing on ESN, Says IPOB

If Miyetti Allah is outlawed and open grazing is eliminated, the Nigerian government may stop the Eastern Security Network’s (ESN) operations, according to the Indigenous People of Biafra, or IPOB.

The group’s spokesperson, Emma Powerful, stated in a statement that if Miyetti Allah is not prohibited, ESN will keep defending the Southeast.

Nigerians should be thankful to IPOB’s leader, Nnamdi Kanu, and ESN for stopping the Sahelian killer herders’ operations, the group claimed.

According to the statement, “the only reason ESN exists is to checkmate the excesses of these killer herdsmen from the Sahel and to make sure that no square inch of the Land of the Ancients (Igboland) is forcibly taken over and occupied by killers posing as herdsmen.”

Most Nigerians are unaware that these murderous herdsmen from the North have taken over a sizable portion of Yoruba territory, specifically Oyo State. Have we all forgotten that this was the point of contention for some Yoruba agitators?

The core of the Yoruba race, Gambari Forest in Oyo State, is now inaccessible to any Yoruba man. In Yoruba, is Gambari a name? The ancestral territory, which has long been known as Katsina Ala, has been forfeited by the Tiv people of Benue.

akin to a miniature Katsina in someone else’s possession. As far as we could tell, neither Katsina Ala nor Gambari are indigenous Yoruba names that anyone would link with the original Tiv people.

“Every well-intentioned Easterner should be appreciative of Nnamdi Kanu and ESN for halting and permanently halting the unrelenting progress of Sahelian killer herdsmen who are determined to subjugate Indigenous populations all the way to the Atlantic Ocean.”

The Yoruba Amotekun was established to legitimize the effort to rid Yoruba farms and woodlands of murderous herdsmen. Similarly, ESN exists solely to safeguard the populace.

If other Nigerians feel at ease with murderous herdsmen occupying their farms and woods and killing their people whenever they want, then so be it. In Biafraland, such a situation will never be repeated. There will never be any Fulani herdsmen occupying any area in Biafraland as long as IPOB is in existence.
