After being appointed as Nigeria’s ambassador to Germany, Femi Fani-Kayode has thanked Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
In addition, Fani-Kayode thanked God and expressed gratitude to the president for what he called the honor of serving the nation in a diplomatic capacity.
He posted on X, saying, “I thank President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for this great honor that he has bestowed upon me, and I give God the glory for my posting as Nigeria’s Ambassador to the Federal Republic of Germany.”
I am genuinely humbled. I pray that God would lead, guide, and prepare me for this new task. He will also keep watch over, bless, and defend Nigeria, my dear country, forever.
He also said that the appointment humbled him and that, as he gets ready to embark on the new task, he prays for spiritual direction.
Additionally, Fani-Kayode prayed for Nigeria’s ongoing protection, blessings, and peace.
