Guinness World Data disqualifies Ghanaian chef’s 227-hour cook-a-thon

Guinness World Data, GWR, has dismissed Ghanaian chef Faila Abdul-Razak’s try and set a brand new report for the longest cooking marathon by a person.

reporter reviews that Faila commenced a ten days cook-a-thon on January 1st 2024, on the Fashionable Metropolis Resort in Tamale.

Faila cooked for 227 hours to interrupt the 119 hours and 57 minutes report set by Irish chef, Alan Fisher who dethroned Nigerian Hilda Baci’s report of 93 hours and 11 minutes.

Nonetheless, updating her followers on Monday, Faila’s coordinator, Kafui Dey, introduced that “an announcement from the Data Administration Workforce cited a violation of the remaining break guidelines, leading to an unsuccessful try”.

Whereas appreciating her followers despite the setback, Chef Faila famous that she doesn’t take their essential function in her path with no consideration.
