Rivers United captain, Nwagua seeks Confederation Cup success

After Rivers United certified for the quarter-final stage of the CAF Confederation Cup, captain, Nyima Nwagua believes the staff can win the competitors.

The Pleasure of Rivers reached the knockout stage of the competitors after a 2-1 win over Dream FC of Ghana.

The previous Nigeria Premier Soccer League champions completed second in Group C with 10 factors.

The Port Harcourt membership awaits their subsequent opponents within the knockout stage of the competitors.

“Now we have labored onerous to get up to now, we won’t look down on ourselves,” he instructed NPFL Tori podcast.

The draw for the quarter-final is billed for twelfth March, 2024.
