PDP urges members not to despair, consults for repositioning in C’River

The State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Celebration, PDP, the main opposition get together in Cross River State, Bar. Venatius Ikem, has suggested members to not despair, urging them to maintain hope alive.

In an announcement, he urged them to proceed to be affected person, persevere and dedicated to the get together.

He stated they may proceed to work together with stakeholders with a view to repositioning the get together as a viable opposition within the state, disagreeing that there was something mistaken within the get together.

“We perceive the state of affairs and the low spirit in members after dropping the 2023 election to All Progressives Congress (APC) amid excessive hopes. Allow us to not despair, however maintain hope alive that we will nonetheless conquer.

“All we want on this nick of time is perseverance, dedication, persistence, and accepting the reality that we are actually in full opposition and take care of it by being resolute in repositioning the get together forward of native authorities and subsequent elections,” he stated.

He charged them to be ready for the upcoming native authorities council election, assuring that PDP will surely bounce again within the state.

He disclosed that get together management was consulting for an acceptable date to carry a caucus assembly of PDP after which different conferences will comply with.
