The primary day of Ramadan 2024 has been introduced in Osun State.
reporter experiences that the announcement was made by way of a signed assertion by Sheikh Musa Animashaun, the Grand Imam and Chairman of the League of Imams and Alfas, Osun State chapter.
The assertion confirmed that Ramadan will start on Monday, March 11, 2024.
reporter recalled that the Sultan of Sokoto, Sa’advert Abubakar III, had earlier introduced Monday because the graduation of the holy month of Ramadan after the moon was sighted in Mecca.
The assertion by Sheikh Animashaun, who can be the Chief Imam of Osogbo, reads: “Within the identify of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful. According to the Means of Allah and the Custom of Prophet Muhammad (noticed), I hereby announce that Ramadan 1445 will begin tomorrow, Monday, March 11, 2024.
“The primary Tarawih shall be noticed tonight, March 10, 2024.
“I pray that Almighty Allah eases the affairs of our nation, eases our private points each throughout and after Ramadan.”
